The
Emigration Affairs Committee
The law regulating the
affairs of al mouwahidoun al druze (The druze montheists) sect promulagted on
29/06/2006 had entrusted the Emigration affairs committee to be concerned with
all the issues regarding the sect members abroad.It stipulated the necessity of
supervising all the emigration afffairs in general,where the means contributing
to bringing about carrying out these tasks are thus illustrated and listed-the
face that requires setting a fundamental scheme,which includes the
approaches,goals and implementation mechanisms in coordination with all the
concerned committees,until communication is provided and mutual benefit is
achieved through the harmonization between presentations and donations and
between the needs and requiremnets for the sect members in lebanon and abroad.
The most important clauses of the propsed scheme are:
• Being in contact with the druze community members abroad along with the VIP’S
of the civil community,the associations,the governmental,non governmental (NGO)
and international organizations.
• Establishing a website on the internet (it is currently under construction
under the name of “AHLONA”) within the main site of druze confessional council.
• Aiming at attending seminars,lectures and conferences held by druze
communities in the emigration countries along with holding seminars and lectures
in lebanon to where the druze community intellectuals,chiefs and members in the
public and private sectors of the emigration countries.
